We are a learning/working barn, where riders learn by doing - not watching.

Our purpose is to develop conscientious riders who understand how their horses think, feel & experience their environment, with an emphasis on the resulting lifetime relationship between horse and rider.

Riders learn horsemanship skills, on and off the horse, including:
-safety & proper handling
-developing a feel for riding a horse
-communicating with a horse creatively, being observant of horse behavior
-keeping horses healthy & challenged through training & competition
-exercises to develop physical & mental balance, coordination & concentration.

We have a complete riding program, for all ages, progressing from beginning riders learning fundamentals of horsemanship, to training for the competitive circuit at the regional/national level.

Through private and group lessons, students learn to work together - with their horses & other riders. The riding discipline teaches students life-skills of patience, commitment, responsibility, focus, goal-setting & relationship building.
